Outside of journalism, I've written for clients in the nonprofit and academic space, as well as healthcare startups and B2B companies. My content writing work tends to be a bit more varied than journalism, as I regularly tackle topics outside of science.
Since 2019, I've been a contributor to Marquette University's alumni magazines, writing about innovative entrepreneurial projects, faculty awards, and groundbreaking research.
I also regularly write for clients through Lunaris Creative, an agency that specializes in science content creation.
Here's a selection of my work over the years:
Genes in Harmony — Marquette College of Health Sciences Magazine, 2023
A Complex Portrayal -- Marquette Today, November 2022
Bidding for Beginners -- Marquette BIZ Magazine, 2022
No Books? No Problem — Marquette Magazine, Fall 2021
The Little Tree That Could -- Marquette Magazine, Spring 2021
Grab a Beer and a Slice of Pi to Celebrate Math this 3/14 — Science Near Me blog on Discover, March 2023
Skipping Your Period on Birth Control -- What You Need to Know -- adyn, February 2023
Do Women Have Testosterone? Yes! Here are the Facts -- adyn, March 2023
Starting a New Birth Control: How Long Does it Take to Adjust? -- adyn, November 2022
P.S. -- See my FAQ page for my conflict of interest statement and more info on how I keep journalism and content writing separate.
